Mesapiu Low Oval Bowl in Fine Stoneware Miro Verde & Basalt Medium 16x14,5xH5,5cm

Oval bowl in fine stoneware from the Miro collection by Mesapiu. The shape is organic and the warm green reactive glaze on the inside interacts beautifully with the heat of the oven creating a unique pattern on each surface. The outside is covered with a matt grey glaze. A nice match can be made with the round or oval plates and dishes in matt grey from the basalt series of Miro.
Miro is a vast dinnerware collection in fine quality stoneware, featuring sensual organic shapes that can be arranged to create the most diverse compositions. All bowls, plates and dishes are available in two basic neutral colours, off-white and basalt grey. To add a colourful touch, the basic tones can be combined with smaller bowls and dishes in a bright red, a warm vivid green and a very soft siena yellow. Each surface is a unique scenery, created by the interaction between the matt reactive glazes and the heat of the oven. Due to high firing at 1150°C, the glazed surface is extremely durable and longlasting and has a very good chip and scratch resistance. Low porosity ensures very good mechanical strength, making this stoneware range suitable for intensive use. All items are oven (220°C), microwave and dishwasher safe.
The stoneware range of Mesapiu is fully organic. All raw materials are natural. No chemical components are added to the clay during the manufacturing process. Reactive glazes are applied, therefore variations in colour and finish may occur. These variations enhance the beauty of our hand-made products. Every piece of stoneware in this collection is unique.
